Arcade Fire- The Suburbs
Arcade Fire - Empty Room
Arcade Fire- Half Light II
Arcade Fire is back with their latest release The Suburbs. I heard mixed reviews about the album but after listening to it myself I have to say it’s not bad at all. Something does seem a little different from their previous album Neon Bible which I can’t quite make out at the moment but all the familiarities of the band are there as well. Interesting note, there are 8 different album covers that are randomly selected when you purchase The Suburbs.

Designing Style Guides For Brands
Once again Smashing Magazine has posted a great informative article about
Designing Style Guides for Brands. As a freelancer, it’s always good to see how other companies present their client work.

The other day I walked across the Williamsburg Bridge for the first time and to my surprise, it definitely had a ton of characteristics about it. From the tacky graffiti everywhere to the unkempt appearance, there was something to keep you on the lookout the whole time. The above photos were just taken quickly with my iPhone but I’m sure I’ll go back very soon with the good ol’ 5D Mark II to snap some better pictures.

Logos With Hidden Symbols
Web Designer Depot did a good job spotting hidden symbols in some of the most recognizable logos. I personally overlooked many of these.
Web Designer As The Artist, Scientist and Philosopher
Interesting article by Smashing Magazine describing web designers as the artist, scientist, and philosopher. I agree..
